Sample of Our Menu

This last week we were able to do a little menu planning and I'm excited to share the first draft of our daily menu!  Andrea can make almost anything so if she says it can be done I trust her.  We decided to feature some of our Colorado favorites.  The Stranahan's Velvet is made with Colorado's Stranahan's Whiskey.  The Morning Star combines all your breakfast favorites into one little cupcake and we make it using Loveland's Colorado Coffee Company Sweetheart Blend Coffee.  Maple buttercream on a delicious coffee cupcake, garnished with candied bacon.  Can you say YUM?!

We are still on the hunt for which local brewery's beer we are going to feature in our beer batter chocolate cupcake.  Since we are Loveland born we would like the beer to be as well.  We will keep you posted as we figure it out.

We also plan to feature a seasonal or monthly cupcake.  And for those of you who just don't feel like a cupcake we will also offer cake pops and a few different flavors of dessert bars.  And since we own the place and can do whatever we want really we will most likely be trying out new items all the time!  Things are coming together folks so get excited!  We sure are!

It's Finally Demo Time!

On Tuesday my dad came down from Loveland and we started gutting Petunia.  At first I had a hard time knowing we were going to be stripping her of the very things that made her a camper.  I got over it quick once I realized how many things were hidden by her adorable charm. It won't take very much to make her great again.  She's going to be perfect for us, and we are excited to help her shine!

Almost everything in Petunia was original.  She still had the original cot that hung above the bed and the original yellow booth seats.  It has been my plan all along to keep the booth.  I wanted to keep her spirit as a camper alive!  Every thing came out with ease until we got to the kitchen sink, ice box, and stove.  They were all built into one piece and unfortunately that piece was also attached to one side of the booth.  So as the kitchen came down so did the booth.  I was disappointed to say the least.

Once we had everything out it was so much easier to see her potential as our cupcake Love Bug!  We decided the other side where the bed was located would be a better place for the booth.  We plan to rebuild the booth on that side.

Up next for Petunia is a good scrub down.  50 plus years of dirt and grime are very obvious now that she's empty.  More to come soon!!

**If anyone out there is in search of some vintage camper parts let me know.  The only thing we are keeping is the booth and the built in cabinets.  Up for grabs is the original kitchen cabinet that houses the stove top, ice box, and sink, which are also up for sale. The original cot with polls and the hardware to hang it. We have some extra birch wood pieces as well.  My info is under the contact page if you are interested!**

Logo Coming Soon!

I am very happy to announce that my amazing tattoo artist H.H. Little Sky will be designing our company logo.  Once Petunia is up and running he will also be painting the logo on her.  H.H. and his wife Meredith own and operate Terrarium Tattoo in Loveland, Colorado.  I first hooked up with H.H. when he had his shop, The Electric Quill, in Boulder, Colorado.  He did my blue fox forearm tattoo a then and earlier this year he started my old tattoo cover up of a tree on my back.  I am proud to display his ink on my skin and I'm even more excited that my dear Petunia will get to rock his artwork as well!  If you are in need of any work please check out this amazing duo.  They are not only amazing artists and tattooists but all around amazing humans as well!

(The start of my tree cover up.  You can almost see what it was before, but I'm not telling ;)

In addition, I would like to announce that I have started our official Facebook , Twitter, and Instagram accounts!  Please like and follow us!

Coming up next I promise I will have some more photos and updates on Petunia.  We are getting ready to start her renovation, and I am so excited to share her transformation.
